Known issues with Minecraft: Education Edition
The following issues are active as of May 26, 2020 in version 1.1.1.0 (Build 4142545). Please report other issues to bugs.mojang.com.
- Windows players are unable to join multiplayer sessions via Game Bar
- A crash can occur in local co-op when P2 tries to join the game using a guest account
- Players who are not friends do not appear as clients in an online multiplayer session hosted by a mutual friend
- Players can encounter an infinite loading screen after joining another player's multiplayer session following reconnection to Xbox Live services whilst in a suspended state during singleplayer gameplay
- Players in an online session are sometimes not shown the reward screen after completing a mission and are not given a reward
- A crash can occur on Xbox One shortly after resuming the game from standby mode during a loading screen
- Incorrect button prompts are displayed on the user interface when using a single Joy-Con in local co-op on Nintendo Switch
- Button prompts sometimes switch between keyboard and gamepad when playing on PC with both inputs attached
- Thundering and Electrified sound effects are not affected by SFX volume settings
- The number of players shown in an online session on the Friends screen may not show the correct number of players
